Weekly Wisdom: Your Dreams Can Have Insights

Part of my doctoral study was interpretation of dreams. These mystical imaginings are much more important than you might realize. Did you know, if you don’t go into dream state, you can mentally break down? According to scientific research, its true! Dreams are THAT important. Also, they can reveal mystical insights into your life. This week, pay attention to your dreams. Ask God to unlock the mysteries they hold for your life. Sometimes they present things you might not want to deal with. Ask for strength and wisdom to deal with your inner issues. Deep work, creates big results. If something is a part of you as a being, God made it so! Don’t forsake what messages your dreams might have for you. Write them down even if they don’t make sense. Insights will come when you least expect them to! Loving you from here, Dr Rev Jenine Marie Howry Advertisements

Here is Your Weekly Wisdom! Honor All Life

Sometimes it’s hard to think of giving honor to those who might be a whole lot less than honorable in their deeds. I believe if we all think back for a moment, we can each come up with a time when we were less than honorable. I could never credit a dishonoring act or action, but I do know I can honor the life of a person even if I can’t honor their deeds. Today’s weekly wisdom took longer than it usually does for me. I’m a bit behind the grid. Today, set your intention to honor a life that you have felt has been less than honorable in deeds. Close your eyes and wrap love around the person. You don’t have to approve of their actions to love them as a human, and at a distance, if that is what is needed. Your heart will grow in the process and love will enter in a different way. Intend to uphold love for that person the entire day if you can.  You might not be …

Here Is Your Weekly Wisdom! Give Yourself Credit

For some reason we are conditioned to expect our acknowledgement, and credit where credit is do, from others outside of us. I think it comes from a world which has the idea that we don’t have all we need from the inside out. It’s easy to look back and place blame on those who raised us for not giving us the “kudos” we always wish we had, but in spite of what we think we were lacking, those experiences have actually been teaching us to give those “kudos” to ourselves. Yes, it is very nice and greatly appreciated when others appreciate us. We do need that, but when we don’t get it, we also should not die on the inside from feelings of lack. Today, take some time to close your eyes, put your hand on your heart, and give yourself the compliments you always have wanted and needed to hear. Remember, they are just as important coming from you than from anyone else. We live in a fast paced society where others have their …

Here is Your Weekly Wisdom! Have You Made Good Choices?

The night before last I had an amazing dream that put so many things in perspective for me. My dream challenged me to go back and consider all of the choices I have made in life, only leave out any bad things about them. I was only to consider what good came out of them. Then the question was asked, “Was it a good choice?” My answer was always YES! I went from marriage to employment to school, to moves I have made. You name it the dream brought me through it! What I realized is I made GOOD choices throughout my whole life so far! Every choice brought me to the place I am now. I woke up with a happy joy. So often we focus so much on the bad things that have happened in life that we forget the great things about it! We “think” we have made bad choices because of those difficult situations. If you do this exercise you will realize that all of your choices brought you some great …

Here Is Your Weekly Wisdom! Commitment

When you commit to something, do it all the way  I’d like to print out a T-shirt that says, “Go ahead, TRY to distract me!” Then, of course, I’d like to be focused and not easily distracted from my task. I deeply admire the monks of Tibet. Can you imagine the dedication it takes to be a monk? The meditation. The solitude. The lifestyle without any of the modern things we often take for granted. What is it that they have that we often don’t? COMMITMENT! They have a stick to it like glue ‘tude that never stops. Today, I challenge you to go back to something you were once passionate about and commit once again. That’s right! Get up and go for it one more time. But this time, don’t let yourself be distracted by other things that can wait or don’t matter. If you really want to make an impact, want results, want peace, want this or want that, you have to be committed and dedicated. Affirm: I AM committed to completing the …

Here is Your Weekly Wisdom!

Keep your eyes, and mind, on what matters and what is happening now.  I never felt such a release as the day I was advised that the past no longer even exists accept only in my head. It’s so true! Its a non existent element of our life experience that we hold inside of our brains, and the effect of  emotions we hold in our souls/bodies. Think of this also: The future has not even been created yet. All you really have is NOW. A second a go is already the past and one second from now is already the future! NOW is what is real and what matters the most. Close your eyes and release the issues that hold you stuck to a non existing past. Yes, it has affected you, and you will have to process what you have held onto. Once you do process it, then let it go for good. Just take the wisdom you gleaned from it and remember it no more. Of course look back at wonderful memories. Those …
