Love Trumps Rules

Have you ever heard the expression, “rules without relationship bring rebellion”? A person can try to enforce all the rules upon someone else but if there is no relationship all the rules in the world can not make someone love or obey. I can’t say why we get so caught up in rules in the Christian faith but it sure does not bring good relationships. Jesus’ way is the way of the Father’s love. His love is a love that covers even when we fail or make mistakes, and we all fail. Jesus came for the sick not the perfect. The irony is there is none who is perfect, so in the divine design he died for everyone. It’s our personal choice if we want to accept His ways or not. To be in Christ is to be in love. Honestly, who cares how a person prays as long as they do, or how a person dresses because it is God who dressed man and woman first in the garden of Eden. When someone opens …

You Need Soul Care and Why

Are you curious as to what soul care is and how it can help every aspect of your life? Soul care goes into the depths of a person and finds the amazing vision that God has set inside of each and every one of us. We all have messiness inside but we all have great things that were made in the image of God. Caring for the soul brings out those amazing things. We are body, mind, and soul and they all work together with one another. I guess you could say we are a trinity like our creator! Why care for only the body and mind but leave the soul unexplored and not excavated ? Who knows what things can be unearthed when soul care is applied to ones life! Let me ask you something. When is the last time you thought about the vision God has placed inside of you for your life? Do you dwell on surface problems and issues that never seem to be solved? Can I give you a pointer? …

Maybe we think God has forgotten us or that we have made too many mistakes to fulfill our calling or destiny. Take heart, Jesus is calling you forth!

Do You Need Deliverance That Comes From High Places?

One warm summer night I had decided to go to the store and get a treat to end my long hot day. As I drove up to a parking space my attention was called to a couple in the car across from me. They were in a heated argument in the car. It was pretty intense. I could hear their words with both our windows up. Both were extremely upset and neither seemed willing to calm down. I sat quietly and observed for a few moments feeling like I was somehow intruding where I did not belong, but felt compelled to stay. Suddenly the woman broke down into tears, both got out of the car, and continued their argument in the middle of the driving area. It all came to a point where she could take no more, threw down a cup she was drinking from, and began to walk off with him following her. A moment later the car door opened once again and a little figure exited the car. It was a little …

It is Alright for a Minister to Pursue Public Ministry or Not to: God is in Control, So Trust HIM

We live in a very confusing time in the church, but looking back on church history in all honesty it always has been a bit confusing. There always seems to be an issue of who is right and who is wrong. We question who has the right doctrine or who is a heretic. Honestly, every man (or woman) is right in their own eyes, according to the scriptures. It does not mean we are right or wrong, it just means we always tend to believe we are in the right during controversy. It’s ok to be right and it is ok to be right for who YOU are and for what YOUR calling is. We all have different callings but we belong to the same body. I read just recently an opinion about going public in ministry and that it is not a humble thing to do. Actually we should be grateful for public ministries. Apostle Paul had a very public ministry and wrote most of the New Testament. We owe a great deal of …
