What if the Whole Body of Christ Lovingly Prayed for One Another?

When I close my eyes and think of the church, not the organization, but the whole Body of Christ, I see a huge family that God had put together. We are meant to be family; a global one. God tells us that we are one faith, one baptism, and one body. Jesus even prayed we would be “as one” just like He is with the Father. The Trinity is an amazing mystery. It is three persons in one, meaning the godhead operates in one accord and in unity with itself. There is nothing that is done that is not in agreement between the three persons of God; God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God is one in purpose, one in faith, one in truth, and one in love. This is how Jesus envisioned the church. He sees us as one Body, with one vision, one purpose, one in faith, one in truth, and one in love. Can you imagine if the whole Body of Christ prayed together in one accord, …

The Lord is Close to the Broken Hearted

Psalm 34:18 “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” I’ve often heard our greatest witness for Christ is when we are broken in our hearts and pliable in the potter’s hands. He takes our broken pots of clay and remolds them into a bright and shiny new pot that will hold much more of His Spirit as we pour out to others who need a touch from the Master’s hands. In our brokenness we can be His hands and feet. We can bring to this world His light. Can we all agree that this world needs more Christ light in it? I am not sure I want to use the word “imagine” but for lack of a better word I am going to. Imagine a world where, through our brokenness, we become the greatest healers on the earth. Jesus walked powerful on this earth, but He also displayed a heart that could be broken. If this were not so then He would not have experienced everything a …

You Need Soul Care and Why

Are you curious as to what soul care is and how it can help every aspect of your life? Soul care goes into the depths of a person and finds the amazing vision that God has set inside of each and every one of us. We all have messiness inside but we all have great things that were made in the image of God. Caring for the soul brings out those amazing things. We are body, mind, and soul and they all work together with one another. I guess you could say we are a trinity like our creator! Why care for only the body and mind but leave the soul unexplored and not excavated ? Who knows what things can be unearthed when soul care is applied to ones life! Let me ask you something. When is the last time you thought about the vision God has placed inside of you for your life? Do you dwell on surface problems and issues that never seem to be solved? Can I give you a pointer? …

The Dirty Little Secret

I can’t wait for you to watch this video because I feel deep in my heart that the church and people of God are coming to a place of new understanding. This is to walk in the grace of God and not judgement or pointing fingers. Our position as the Body of Christ is not to judge others but to love them as Christ loves us. The church is a driving force here on earth in order to push back the darkness. She is not to be the darkness but to be the light of Jesus Christ. God bless you in your hearing! In Christ,We Are Sealed

Song of Solomon 8:6-8 “Seal me in your heart with permanent betrothal, for love is strong as death, and jealousy is as cruel as Sheol. It flashes fire, the very flame of Jehovah. 7 Many waters cannot quench the flame of love, neither can the floods drown it. If a man tried to buy it with everything he owned, he couldn’t do it.” I peeked outside for just a moment as my husband was working on our outside wood deck. Texas has some harsh weather at times. In the summer it is humid and hot, tempered with occasional thunder storms. Winters are cold and sometimes it snows in our north east area of the Lone Star State. The fluctuation in temperatures, with water in the air and ground, can be very hard on wood outside. Without something to seal the wood the harshness of the weather would rot it out and soon it would have to be replaced. Basically, it falls apart. I was reminded of the Scripture in Song of Solomon in the Bible where two …
